Welp, I had this copied and was going to paste what I had to say but now I must retype it because computer suck sometimes.

So I am personally not that fond of the use the word “retard/ed.” When I was younger I used it because I was a dumb kid and it may occasionally slip out in extreme anger at really shitty drivers who nearly kill me when I’m on the road. But I usually feel bad afterwards because it really is a shitty word to use outside of technical meanings.

Anyways, I love the Moon Moon thing. I think it’s great. But I never once saw the.. character(?) as mentally handicapped in any way. I always saw him as the typical Fool or blissfully naive archetype. This doesn’t always equate to being mentally handicapped. Also, I’ve yet to actually see someone use the word “retard/ed” alongside Moon Moon. They typically just have silly pictures with comic sans.

I don’t know. What do you guys think about this? Is it “ableist.” as the Anon suggests?

It’s more ableist to assume every meme that fits the fool archetype is talking about people with mental problems.

This quest seems to be bugged. I’m supposed to kill a Brush Titan, but its lair or whatever doesn’t show up anywhere on the map and the only quest I get on my quest screen is “report death of Brush Titan”. I have had a few of my targets be dead by the time I get there to kill them, but this does not seem to be the case, because the lord I’m reporting to keeps sending me back out to kill the same titan. :/

Has this happened to anybody else? Is there anything I can do to break the cycle?
