First of all, the URL is roflzone.com which is like a poor man’s laughload, which is a really really poor man’s Fail Blog. It’s a shitty humor site. A bunch of roflzone’s content is overtly misogynistic. If this were a legitimate self-defense poster being presented as such, you guys would have a case, but it’s not. And these aren’t even real self-defense techniques. The joke is that if you grab a woman’s boobs, she’ll stop coming at you! Get it? Because woman don’t like having their boobs grabbed without their consent! Stupid flighty broads.
Now, a REAL self-defense poster, demonstrating REAL martial arts techniques, that mixes the genders of attackers and victims so that a man isn’t always the rapist and the woman isn’t always the victim? (And so that same-sex encounters are represented too?) I think most feminists would actually be on board with that.
Second, how many of those rapes committed by women are statutory? How many involved drugs and alcohol to subdue the victim? How many use emotional manipulation? I’m not saying female rapists never come at their victim head-on like the image shows, or that there aren’t individual women who are strong enough to physically overpower a man - of course there are. But the profile of a typical female-on-male rape is going to look a lot different from a typical male-on-female rape, and this has everything to do with socialization and systemic messages of power and entitlement. I keep seeing this idea promoted - yes, usually by MRAs - that there are just tons and tons of aggressive female rapists out there who leap out of the shadows and physically subdue their male victims with brute strength and I would be very, very surprised if that turns out to be true.

Many “feminists” are claiming that misandry does not exist, when things like this are right before their eyes.
In news articles, if a woman is raped, she receives sympathy and the perpetrator is highly looked down upon. There may be some victim blaming, however there is little to none and it is downvoted and receives many replies explaining why it is not the victims fault. (I am not saying I support victim blaming in women, or anyone, this is simply what I have observed.)
In articles about male rape, the majority of comments are jokes or people claiming he made it up and that men can’t get raped. There is a substantial amount of victim blaming and gender stereotyping - comments saying he’s just pathetic and needs to “man up”. And people saying that a man cannot be raped. Men can become physically aroused without consenting! Women can rape men, it does happen!
Many males who are victims of rape are too scared to tell anyone in fear of appearing weak which is deemed unacceptable of men.
Look at the responses for the female-on-male rape stories and imagine them being on male-on-female rape stories, and then tell me misandry isn’t real.
(This post is not saying male-on-female rape is right, or that women are not oppressed and I am not misogynistic.)
And people say that we live in a “patriarchy” and that society isn’t misandrist… give me a fucking break.
